Walsall FC School Partners
During School Term Time Walsall FC Community Programme operates an extremely popular School
Partners Programme.
School Partners sessions are part of the Walsall FC Community Coaching Pathway.
Currently working in a number of schools in the area each school receives:
- PPA Cover or PE Lessons run by our qualified staff
- After School Football Clubs run by our qualified staff
- Offer of concessionary tickets to selected Walsall FC fixtures
- A Walsall FC signed football
- Joint fundraising projects
- Ground tours of The Banks's Stadium
- Opportunity to meet Walsall FC players
- Invitation to enter a National School 6-a-side competition
The Community Programme works alongside schools to tackle issues such as Healthy Lifestyles, Behaviour, attendance and looks to reward good attainment. The SHAPE Programme, in partnership with Walsall NHS and Walsall Sport & Leisure Development, is also available to all schools in the Walsall Borough.

SHAPE sessions are also recognised as part of, and linked to, the National Change 4 Life campaign.
The Schools Partners Programme aims to enhance the education offered to children at Walsall schools, particularly in sport. After School Clubs prove popular and offer out of school care from as little as £2.00 per hour session.
Charges to the school are minimal as the Community Programme works to cover costs through their involvement with the school.
Schools not in the Partnership are invited to work with the Community Programme on a termly basis.
