Welcome to the Talented & Gifted Home Page for Season 2011/2012.  Details for current signed players can be found here aswell as information for players wishing to apply for trials to the T&G Programme.

The Talented & Gifted sessions play an important role within the Walsall FC Community Programme Coaching Pathway.

Overseen and coached by Marc Wilkes, Talented & Gifted Development Officer, and supported by Paul Larvin, Dean Williams and Adam Davy players are monitored closely.  Players showing potential within these sessions can gain "Guest Passes" to join in a training session within the Walsall FC Centre of Excellence to further develop their understanding of the game.

All three Talented & Gifted Coaches also coach on the Walsall FC Centre of Excellence.  Click on their names for details of their qualifications.

Players registered to the Talented & Gifted session are entitled to free match tickets to Walsall FC fixtures.  Parents can also get reduced rate tickets to games.  Please read the match ticket letter, below, for more details.

 

2011/2012 SQUAD TRAINING TIMES

Term 1 (2011/2012) starts WB 12th September 2011. 

Term 2 (2011/2012) starts WB 9th January 2012.

Term 3 (2011/2012) starts WB 16th April 2012.

We encourage all players within the Taleted & Gifted squads to build a portfolio folder at home. Please download and print all of the documentation displayed on this site and keep it in a ring binder.  Also include your termly assessments and Curriculum sheets.  This folder will produce a high quality football CV for future reference.
